Since 1965 and born out of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, Total Action for Progress (TAP) has helped hundreds of thousands of individuals and families across the Roanoke Valley and Alleghany Highlands achieve sustainable, equitable economic and personal independence. Today, TAP offers over 20 programs that create opportunities and change lives through education, employment, affordable housing, and safe and healthy environments.
We invite you to learn about our Traveling Birthday Party held the week of April 28 – May 2.
Join the challenge by taking on one or more of the following:
- Make a one-time donation of $60 or more to support TAP’s life-changing programs.
- Devote 60 minutes (or 60 hours!) as a volunteer with one of TAP’s initiatives.
- Dine or shop at participating businesses offering TAP 60 for 60 profit shares or round-up campaigns. Stay tuned as we update this page throughout the year with these opportunities.
- Take 60 seconds or more to share your TAP story or vision for TAP’s next 60 years. Have you ever been involved with TAP—as a program participant, volunteer, board member, employee, or partner—and have a powerful story to share? Or do you have thoughts about the community’s most pressing needs and TAP’s priorities for the next 60 years? We want to hear from you at 60for60@nulltapintohope.org.
- Be one of 60 restaurant or business partners to offer a one-time profit share, change round-up campaign, or donate a gift certificate or item for our fundraising raffles. Contact giving@nulltapintohope.org to get started.
