Sabrina’s Place

Description: A branch of DVS, Sabrina’s Place is a supervised visitation and safe exchange center. In addition to providing a safe, secure environment for children and their parents, Sabrina’s Place provides services that promote healthy interactions between family members and prevent victimization.

Special Requirements:
o Sabrina’s Place requires all volunteers to complete a Criminal Background check if working directly with clients or filing documents
o Sabrina’s Place requires volunteers to commit to at least 10 hours
o Sabrina’s Place will allow youth 12-17 years old to volunteer with parental consent

Duties:
o Cleaning and organizing the center;
o Organizing the storage unit and clothing closet;
o Cleaning toys in visiting rooms;
o Searching for grants and donations; and
o Assisting during community civic events.

Dates and times available:
o Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with flexible timing (schedule to be coordinated with Program Leader)
