TAP’s annual Black History Month celebration will be held on February 11, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church. The event will feature music, guest speakers, and an awards ceremony, followed by a soul food luncheon prepared by Morning Star Baptist Church.
This year, we’ll explore the past, present and future of Roanoke’s Black community by honoring these local cornerstones:
- The Harrison Museum of African American Culture
- The Roanoke Tribune
- Melrose Plaza
