DESCRIPTION:  \nDue to the COVID-19 outbreak\, Head Start will not be holding in-person enrollment events until further notice. To apply for services online\, please click here.\n \n\nWe are currently recruiting children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old for full- and part-time care.\n\nHow to Apply\n\nPlease visit Smart2Start to complete an online application—a Head Start staff member will then contact you to complete intake.\n \nWhat You Will Need\n\nTo complete intake\, a Head Start staff member will request the following documentation: \n• Verification of income – One of the following: W-2; paper copy of 2 current pay stubs; letter on letterhead from your employer stating the hours you work and pay rate; school or training schedule; proof of SSI or TANF; or child support documents. \n• Verification of birth – One of the following: birth certificate or birth letter from the hospital; paternity papers; baptismal papers; or I-94 Form. \n• Physical & immunization records – Please bring for each child. Must be signed by the doctor or his/her designee. \n*To qualify for full-day services\, you must be working\, enrolled in school/training\, or a combination of both. \n\nFor more information\, contact us at 540.767.6094. \nTAP Early Head Start & Head Start do not discriminate on the basis of race\, color\, national origin\, sex\, disability\, or age in their programs and activities. Join us for our Fathers First parenting class! \nIn this 8-week course we’ll cover topics such as self-awareness\, communication\, healthy relationships\, parenting skills\, and more. Classes will consist of self-paced work due on Mondays at 5:00 p.m. and weekly video conferences on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. Seating is limited\, and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
