Stand Down for Homeless Veterans: November 9, 2020
The 2020 Stand Down for Homeless Veterans event will take place on November 9. This event, sponsored by the Department of Labor, Salem VA Medical Center, and Total Action for Progress, will provide homeless veterans with several services, including: Flu and Hepatitis A shots Boxed meals Housing information Other supplies as needed This event will follow COVID-19 PPE, social distancing, and hygiene protocols. Join us for Bag Day on January 12, 13, 19 and 20! How Bag Day works: Visitors are allowed to take a 13-gallon bag of men and/or women’s clothing home with them when they sign up for a spot on one of these four Bag Days.
