DESCRIPTION:Our CNA and CCMA programs prepare students to enter the field of healthcare. \n\nAbout TAP’s CNA Program: \n\nThe Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program allows compassionate people interested in working with the elderly\, disabled\, and chronically ill to gain necessary skills to become a certified care provider. \n\nWhat TAP’s CNA program offers:\n\n• 143-hour course curriculum approved by the Board of Nursing that exceeds state requirements\n• 40-hour hands-on clinical training experience\n• All instructional materials\n• On-site testing for CNA certification\n• Job placement assistance\n• Stress reduction education including tai chi and yoga\n• Financial assistance may be available \nAbout TAP’s CCMA Program:\n\nThe Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) program prepares students to work alongside physicians\, mainly in outpatient or ambulatory care facilities\, such as medical offices and clinics. \n\nWhat TAP’s CCMA program offers:\n\n\n9-week course curriculum\nHands-on clinical skills experience\nAll instructional materials\nOn-site testing for CCMA certification\nJob-readiness and soft skills preparation for employment\nFinancial assistance may be available\n\n\nNew Class Information\n\nUpcoming CNA classes:\nStay tuned! \nUpcoming CCMA classes:\n\n\nAugust 23 – October 18 • Enroll by August 16\nTBD Late October/Early November • Enroll by Week before class starts\n\nClasses will run Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Fridays\n9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. \nWhere:\nRoanoke Higher Education Center\n108 N.
