DESCRIPTION:Y.A.L.E.\, one of our Youth Employment Programs\, is currently enrolling for their next course!  \nWhat is Y.A.L.E.?\nYoung Adult Life Enhancement (Y.A.L.E.) helps past or present court-involved young adults\, ages 18-24\, become self-sufficient\, engaged citizens. Participants are paid while they learn valuable life skills and earn certifications. \nWhat does Y.A.L.E. offer?\nY.A.L.E. offers its participants: \n\nCustomer service and sales certification\nAccess to additional certifications\, such as CNA\, ServSafe\, and more\nJob-readiness skills\nPaid work experience and/or apprenticeships\nCommunity-based service-learning projects\nAssistance acquiring a high school diploma or GED\nOne-on-one mentoring\nWeekly stipend of $125\nLife skills training\n\nHow to apply for our Youth Employment program\nYou can sign up for this course at:\nRoanoke Higher Education Center\n108 North Jefferson Street\, Suite 513\nRoanoke\, VA 24016 \nHours of operation are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.\, and signups will be available until June 30. \nPlease bring two (2) of the following forms of identification:\n\nSocial security card (Required)\nBirth certificate\nCopy of photo ID/driver’s license\nGreen card/passport\n\nThe following documents are also required:\n\nCriminal justice involvement verification\nProof of address\n\nFor more information\, visit our Facebook page or contact us at 540.797.3683.
