What is the Total Action for Progress Home Weatherization Program?
The Weatherization program is designed to reduce the cost of heating and cooling homes in order to make them more energy efficient. This program helps families to save money and makes homes safer for habitation during extreme hot or cold weather.
What areas does this program serve?
Residents of Alleghany County, Bath County, Botetourt County, Craig County, Roanoke County, and Rockbridge County, and the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, Lexington, Roanoke, and Salem are eligible for services.
Is there a cost for this program?
There are no costs to approved clientele for this program.
How can I access services?
The Home Weatherization Program is located at 302 2nd St. SW, in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. Am I eligible for this service?

TAP is a member of the Association of Energy Conservation Professionals, which serves as a resource group for the Virginia Weatherization Assistance Program as well as a source of energy education for the general public. In addition, TAP is a founding member of Weatherize Roanoke, a collaborative effort that seeks to improve the health, safety and energy efficiency of homes in the Roanoke Valley.
