What is the Total Action for Progress Sabrina's Place Program?

Sabrina s Place is a Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Center developed to prevent violence from occurring between family members during the exchange or visitation of children. In addition to providing a safe, secure environment for children and their parents, Sabrina s Place provides services that promote healthy interactions between family members and prevent the victimization of both parents and children.

What areas does this program serve?

Families who are residents of Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem, and the greater Southwestern Virginia area are eligible to apply to Sabrina s Place.

Is there a cost for this program?

There is no cost for this program.

How can I access services?

Sabrina s Place is located at 120 Kirk Avenue in downtown Roanoke, Virginia.

We accept client referrals from a variety of sources, including: court orders, domestic violence agencies, mental health professionals, mediators and attorneys. Individuals can also request supervised visitation and safe exchange services through the courts.

Intakes are scheduled between: 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Supervised visits and exchanges are scheduled between:
4:00pm and 8:00pm Wednesday-Friday
10:00am and 2:00pm Saturday
2:00pm and 6:00pm Sunday.

Am I eligible for this service?

Sabrina's Place provides services to families who have experienced domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, stalking and dating violence.

Your donations are necessary to make this program possible.

Community Partnerships and Funding

Sabrina s Place is a collaboration of Total Action For Progress and the City of Roanoke. Our program has a Consulting Committee composed of representatives from local government, court system and human services agencies and organizations. Funding comes from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, federal grants, private foundations, and private donations. A full list is available upon request.
