What is the Total Action for Progress Real Estate Development Program?
The Real Estate Development Program offers various services such as project management and housing quality standards inspections that include roofing and electrical inspections.
TAP s construction management capacity includes management of the bidding process, cost estimation, modification of plans and specs, coordination of subcontractors, installation of utilities, and supervision of progress on job sites. Its experienced staff will ensure that work is performed in compliance with plans and specs, as well as prevailing codes and regulations. All projects will be finished on time and within budget.
An example of TAP s successful project management is the Bath County Neighborhood Revitalization Project. This project is designed to help low-income families and individuals in the Thomastown and Pinehurst Heights areas make repairs to their homes that, left undone, would make the home inaccessible, unsafe or unhealthy. This four-year project is now beginning its second phase, with an expected completion date sometime in the fall of 2015.
Contractors wishing to be placed on TAP's Qualified Contractors list must complete a Qualified Contractors Application, which may be downloaded by clicking here: Qualified Contractor Application.
