Food Service Helper Delivery Driver

Food Service Helper/Delivery Driver needed for TAP Head Start. 7 hours a day, 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. M-F. Responsible for stocking supplies, food prep, janitorial duties, loading vans, and delivering food in an agency van to child care centers in the Roanoke area. Clean drug test, fingerprinting, criminal background check, valid VA driver�s license, and good driving record required. Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. Food Service experience preferred.

Head Start Director

TAP seeks to hire an individual to oversee a Head Start program of 1,000+ children. The applicant must have a Head Start background, and a minimum of a Bachelor�s Degree with 5 years supervisory and administrative experience that includes fiscal and programmatic management. Individuals with a leadership background in Early Childhood Development, or experience equivalent to an elementary school principal or executive director of a non-profit with 200 or more employees and a background in business administration or who has extensive experience in interpreting and developing policies and procedures could be considered.

R.N. or L.P.N. needed for the position of TAP Head Start/Early Head Start Health Coordinator. Health care experience with low income families and children birth through 5 preferred. Weatherization Technician

Local non-profit is looking for an energetic weatherization technician. Must have completed the following training or be able to complete Lead Safe Weatherization, OSHA 10 and Retrofit Installer Technician training. Prefer 3 years of experience as a weatherization technician and some experience as an HVAC helper with experience in electrical, drywall and carpentry work. Must be able to work outside and inside during hot and cold temperature extremes, work in tight spaces and on ladders and roofs. Must have a current Virginia Driver�s license with a good driving record and a high school diploma or GED.
