What is the Total Action for Progress Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation Program?

The Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation program provides installations and renovations of indoor plumbing to homes that do not have indoor plumbing or have inoperable indoor plumbing.

What areas does this program serve?

Residents of the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt, Craig, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Henry, Montgomery, Patrick, Pulaski, and Roanoke are eligible for this service.

Is there a cost for this program?

Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation is a loan-based program. It is based on a 10-year loan with zero interest. The amount a client will pay back on a monthly schedule is based on ability to pay. The rest of the monthly payment is forgiven, as long as the homeowner pays the predetermined payment. The minimum any client will be required to pay is $25.00.

The Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation Program is located at 302 2nd St. SW, in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. Am I eligible for this service?

Prospective clients for the Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation Program cannot earn more than 80% of the Area Median Income. To find your area median income, click on this link: HUD User.
